about me.

i graduated from the aveda institute in november 2014 and after years of working in large salons, i transitioned to a salon suite in lakewood in the summer of 2020. i’ve created a space that feels special to me and strive to cultivate an experience where clients can come as they are to get away from life’s stressors or bring their remote work alongside them.

my passion and creativity for hair started in the 6th grade and moved on towards high school as my mom and i spent countless hours befriending the workers at sally’s beauty supply and experimenting with my latest color obsession in my parents bathroom. i was the girl who curled and styled all of my friends’ hair for banquets and formals yet never imagined it could be a career of my own.

i moved to albuquerque, new mexico on a whim at the ripe age of 21 and the desire to start hair school was placed in my heart. as i prayed through this decision (knowing i had had many fleeting interests before), the confirmation from my community sealed the deal for me. i am grateful for the opportunities i’ve had to build relationships with my clients and to make them look as good as they feel.

beyond the chair, i can be found involved at my local church, playing pickleball or crushing it at a game night, sharing my latest fashion favorites on tiktok (@captivateothers), and spending time with my nieces and nephews. for more behind the scenes on my life, follow me on instagram @bianca.pastrana
